| August 9th, 2011, we surprised the girls and took them to see Miranda Cosgrove (I Carly) in concert at Great America. Anya watches I Carly every day, has I Carly purses, clothes, backpacks, dolls, nightgowns, and just about everything and anything else we can get our hands on - so for her, this was a HUGE deal!!!!! We even sprang for the VIP tickets! |
| We got them I Carly shirts to wear to the concert! This was taken just as we got in the car to go to the show! |
| Even though we told Anya she was going to see I Carly live, evidently she didn't really understand what that meant. We were in the 11th row, center, very close. The moment Miranda walked out onto the stage, and Anya saw that it was really her, live, so close, she immediately was overcome, and began to cry! When I saw her face, I got teary as well! I've never seen her like that - literally moved to tears! It was unbelievable!!!! SO awesome! |

| Eventually she regained her composure, and I think this may actually have been the single happiest night of her little life thus far!!! |

| At the end of the show, they blew out confetti at both sides of the stage. It was so thick, you could hardly see the sky! It was so neat! |
